On Wednesday, we've also got a powerful PSHE lesson that looks at mental wellbeing, self-esteem and resilience with former cricketers James Taylor and Devon Malcolm, who both speak candidly about their difficult personal experiences as players. The session includes a game, designed by sport for wellbeing experts, that aims to encourage children to speak about the things that are affecting them.
This session will look to develop your pupils key cricket skills as well supporting social skills through providing feedback for their partner.
We're looking at batting skills in this week's cricket at home session. Children will develop their skills around aiming at specific targets and then try to put those skills in to action in a head to head game.
This session will encourage children to develop techniques for throwing the ball accurately at a target.
