PTFA

Harston & Newton    Parents, Teachers and Friends Association

Raising funds for the school and creating lasting memories for our children

Coming up

Pippa Brown (Annabel Class Amber and Cassie Class Emerald from September) is now the PTFA chair and a new committee is in place, although a treasurer is still needed. If you are interested in becoming treasurer, or would like to become a friend of the PTFA (perhaps helping to run an event or writing a bid for funding), please email committee@theptfa.com to see how you can get involved.

You can read the PTFA Report for 16/17 below.

May Fayre

A massive thank you to everyone who supported the May Fayre.
To everyone who came, who helped, who baked, who donated, who performed - thank you. You all helped to make it a fantastic afternoon. Although the sun did not shine on us this year, we had a great turnout and the May Fayre raised an incredible £2,549.91.
A fantastic achievement by all involved.
THANK YOU!

Band Night

The PTFA Band Night was a fun and successful event, including the amazing Toy Machine, Jamie Segrave and Provenance Kitchen. Big thanks to Bury Lane Farm Shop, Pinksters and Briggs & Mortimer too – without their generous sponsorship we would not have been able to run the Gin Bar, which proved to be a very popular addition to the night! It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying the music, food and atmosphere.

It’s CHRISTMAS!!

A fantastic (and busy!) preparation for Christmas 2016 with our Festive Fundraiser (cards, mugs, wrapping paper all designed by the children), the Christmas Shop (gifts available for the children to buy for their family), and the ever-popular Christmas disco!
